 While
we explore the skies above us hoping to find a flicker
of life, we seem to forget that the very jewel of the
universe is probably right here at our feet. Earth has
watched us grow, become Man. And as any good mother
would, she feeds us and gives up the best she has to
offer, unselfishly, while we show little recognition
and respect for her bounty and generosity. Indeed, it
is safe to say that there probably is no other place
in the universe where so much colour, diversity, beauty
and life can be found.
Man's actions, or his folly, are creating one of the
greatest periods of extermination; animal species are
becoming extinct at an alarming rate, forests are vanishing,
deserts are expanding and oceans are becoming empty.
The greatest danger is when we ourselves become silent
spectators of Earth's demise.
The founder of EcoContribution has chosen not to spectate,
but to take up the challenge of helping the environment.
By taking a stand and getting involved in our future,
we hope that others will join us and see that together
we can all make a difference.
EcoContribution's mission is to educate on matters
that are within everyone's reach. Many of the simple
things we overlook in our everyday life have disastrous
effects on the environment and our planet. When we are
given the proper information, we realize that a small
change in the way we do things can have a great positive
impact.
Our goal is to generate enough awareness and support
in the population to bring this willingness of the people
to our political leaders. EcoContribution intends to
bring change by fusing political action and grassroots
involvement.
